Chinese goose

Czech

An active bird with a temper

Czech

A small, finely-boned goose from Bohemia, the Czech is quite a good layer that starts its breeding season early in the year. They are active, alert birds that do have the bad reputation of being aggressive, although this is mainly restricted to when goslings are around or the goose is sitting.

They have been bred in the UK since the 1990s, although the strain that is now found in Germany has changed its name to Bohemian and is slightly shorter in the body and longer in the leg than those found in the Czech Republic. This breed is only found with totally white plumage.

“All his swans are turned to geese.”

All expectations end in nothing.
